The Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Venture Funds

Our investment focus and expertise is in Information Communications Technology, Software and Engineering. Within these sectors we invest primarily in patent and ‘know how’ driven knowledge based Companies. Those where the company promoters can demonstrate to us their vision and ability to create compelling new products and services.

We keep an open mind and will invest in compelling opportunities where we identify that we can bring added value to the promoters. As a rule of thumb, if you are a client of Invest NI or a client of Enterprise Ireland you are eligible to apply to our Funds.

Series A, B and later Institutional Investment Rounds up to €2.5 / £2m per investment
