Cork Ireland, 18 June 2015:

Kernel Capital is pleased to confirm a €1million syndicated investment in Dublin-based Corlytics Limited (“Corlytics”), a financial software company. The investment is through the Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Fund with co-investors Enterprise Ireland, Angel Investors and Company Founders.

Founded in 2013, Corlytics have developed a platform which enables global financial institutions identify avoidable losses and fines. The Company’s technology empowers banks to minimize regulatory breaches by using predictive risk analytics applications to evaluate, benchmark and manage market risk. The Company which is the only global source of third-party data and associated analytics plan’s to double its staff to 30 to support its growth plans.

Headquartered in Dublin with offices in London, New York and Boston, Corlytics are the main industry data provider referenced in the Bank of England’s Fair and Effective Markets Review which was released on the 10th June 2015.

Commenting on the announcement, John Byrne, CEO, Corlytics Limited said: “We are very excited about Corlytics prospects in this new growth market.
